Easiest Way to Send Flowers to Germany
Coming from a big German family I have tons of relatives in Germany and this past Valentine's Day was a big challenge for me. I had some aunt and uncles in Germany that I needed to send flowers to and I could not for the life of me find a flower shop that would deliver to that country in Europe. So I did some intensive research online and found some great sites that provide my delivery of flowers abroad.
First off, I want to note that researching on a topic that hardly anyone would actually look up is a tough task to complete. I swear I looked over 20+ sites and I found the minimum amount of information I needed.
I would first recommend you to call a local flouriest and ask them if they provide flower deliveries to Germany or the countries of your choice. Most time these florist deals went sending flowers to multiple location that they probably have more information then what you can find online which isn't so surprising, but with my luck my local flouriest didn't ship international and they didn't have a clue on other flower shops that do ship international. My next best bet was to search Google on "sending flowers abroad".
There were some reputable online flower shop that do ship internationally and most of them are well known flower shops like FTD.com and 800Flowers.com. So I skimmed through the search results after page, after page and found information all over the place. It was really getting nowhere. After hours online research multiple pages on how to deliver flowers to Germany. I finally ended up on FTD.com and started reading their FAQ on international deliveries, which was exactly what I needed. I skimmed the page for a bit and found the information I needed.
The easiest way to send flowers to Germany would to go online a look at a reputable site like FTD.com. They should have an international delivery page where you can actually see all the countries they deliver to. Most of the time, you'll find the international deliver page at the bottom of the site or do a quick search on there site search box. In this case, FTD.com had their international delivery page at the bottom of their site. Current FTD.com ship flowers to 75 countries including Germany which was what I was looking for. The rates to send flowers to different countries depends on where it's located, most time if it a remote country like New Zealand then the rates will be higher. There you have the easiest way to ship flowers to Germany would be a online flower shop like FTD.com or Teleflora.com just to name a few.
